Photography 101

As several of you know, I am taking a hard photography class at Chaparral, but here are some tips or facts I have learned from the teacher of the class, Mrs. Lineberger!!!!!

1. The composition of the rule of thirds is used frequently to divide pictures into thirds by using lines. See picture above entry.
2.ped.com/useful-lists-of-iso-settings-f-stops-shutter-speeds-by-third-and-half/articles/2009/03/
3. Work with angled photography to make your photographs more interesting.
4. Panning action means to follow your subject until you take a complete picture.
5. Stop motion means to take a picture of your subject while stopping your camera.
6- an underexposed picture is too dark. Use the right shutter speed

Here are 2 fun assignments you should do that my friends and I did or have done during photography that you should try!
1. Daguerrotype mint tin. Burn the tin in the barbecue or over a fire. Take a picture of yourself and place it in the tin.
2. A scribble self portrait. draw yourself and write words and phrases that describe you. Then get out shaving cream and colored dyes and one or more bins.

As have to say is, "photography rocks even though its hard sometimes!"
Thank you for reading and I hope you learned from me.

Thank you Mrs. Lineberger for teaching me these tips and assignments. You rock!
