2011 Prayer Requests and list

I am going to pray for these people

1. Ryan Grant

2. Marley McLaughlin

3. Dr. Beyda and his medical team

Ryan and his family deserve my prayers since this is probably a scary time for them. Ryan's mom, Mrs. Grant was nice enough to come see me while I was in the hospital at Phoenix Children's Hospital in November.

Marley and her family deserve my prayers since they have a lot on their plate including Marley's brain cancer. I am praying Marley will stay cancer free.

Dr, Beyda and team are awesome and they are triply deserving of my prayers since Haiti can be kind of unsafe sometimes.

My Hopes for 2011

My Top Hopes for 2011 are to

1. Win Outstanding Buddy Pair from Best Buddies Arizona with Elaine Helton as my Buddy

2. Inspire people to fight for their health etc

3. Attend the Best Buddies International Leadership Conference in Indiana as an ambassador

4. volunteer with Best Buddies Arizona or some other charity or hospital like Phoenix Children's

5. Speak at Chaparral as ambassador (1st opportunity)- watch out Chaparral Best Buddies here she comes.

Health wise

6. To grow more- I hope shrink my recurrence rate of pneumothorax coming back by growing more

7. Get fit

Christmas 2010 and Winter Break

For Christmas, we celebrated with both families. The Schmidt family came over to our house.

We celebrated God the Creator, God the Guide and Good Shepard.

A good of example of God as a/the Guide was when God guided Dr. Stuart Lacey as he was doing surgery on me at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Without your prayers, I felt uncertainty before my surgery but with your prayers, I knew Dr. Lacey would receive God's guidance. Thank you for your prayers.

Over break, I witnessed a flash mob at Fashion Square....people sang about God and they sang the Hallelujah chorus. That day, I saw Yogi Bear with my cousin and associate buddy, Emily Eaton! We both loved Yogi Bear.

My moms parents (Jim and Carol aka Nana and Boppa Schmidt) and the Murphy family joined us to pass out gifts to the homeless family on the afternoon of Christmas.

The best gifts I received were a gift to Outback Steakhouse, 4 Harkins' Theatres VIP passes, which I will use to take my Best Buddy and another pair to a movie but the best gift was a TV for my room. I can now watch the news at night. My Best Buddy is going to come over in January to watch TV and work on homework.
